MPOB Receives Unmodified Audit Opinion for 2019

We are pleased to report that, for the seventh consecutive year in a row, the Municipal Pensions Oversight Board (MPOB) has received an unmodified audit opinion (the best you can get) on their Financial Report with Other Financial Information for the year ended June 30, 2019. Independent Auditor, Brown, Edwards, & Company, L.L.P., Certified Public Accountants, conducted the audit and found that the MPOB ended the year in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States of America.
The MPOB will continue to strive to adhere to strict internal controls in order to receive an eighth favorable audit result for the fiscal year ending in 2020.
